Burn is a project about defying the sacred status of film, by taking fire and heat to 4x5 negatives, exploring the material in a non-conventional way and turning the act of destruction into a key process of creation. The resulting images were only possible through contact printing since the negatives had become distorted into fragile sculpture-like objects.
